todae is my beautiful sister's 23rd bdae. she a yr younger than me. but i haf like 10 times more burden than her. haiz... *envy*

so as usual, for everyone's bdae, my mum wld cook steamboat n one of us wld help to buy a cake n haf a mini celebration. =)

ah di is pretendin to scoop sme food, ah mei quickly act like shes wipin e table n i'm puttin in veges (posin as my mum whom always like to put in lotsa of veges n walk away to force us to eat sme greens). keke... but dad juz cme back fr wrk hungry n all, refusin to cooperate n cant b bothered wif us. so simply sit there actin cool while dar takes e pic. lolz...

tats e dining area. it used to b e backyard. but durin last yr renovation wrks, my dad minimise e backyard n convert it to a place where my mum can cook outside (behind my sis) n eatin area. den e kitchen inside wld oni b used to cook non-oily stuff like boil barley water or wat. only when there r visitors den we eat at our dining rm.

main reason for moving e eatin area behind as dad always used to complain tat when we eat, we always take ages. coz we eat n watch tv at e same time. e dining rm used to b juz rite nxt to e living rm ma. keke... so he purposely move e dining rm behind. =(

look at e hot rich soup. so yummy. though i eat steamboat like every other wk coz mom lazy to cook, i still njoy it lots. i like those got bbq hotplate types oso. hse got but mom dun like as e oil'll splatter n haf a hard time cleanin up. todae got fresh scallops. xtremely sweeeeet! =9

of late, its usually ice-cream cakes or durian cakes durin e mini bdaes celebration. hee...

i reallie tink gelare ice-cream cakes taste better dan swensen ones. i luv gelare waffles wif ice-cream on top together wif butter n maple syrup. so crispy as its freshly made. heaven. tuesdae is half-priced peeps! =)

forgot to pre-order if nt cld haf got smeting nicer. like those heart shape ones wif more strawberries.
